The collection of articles was prepared on the basis of speeches at the conference of the Center for Socio-Economic Research of China of the Institute of the Far East of the Russian Academy of Sciences, held on March 16, 2015 in Moscow. The work consists of two parts and four sections (in each part of two sections). The first part of the collection in general reflects the social and economic policy of the PRC in the years of the 12th five-year plan (2010-2015), its results and the situation in certain regions of the country. The second part analyzes the situation in various sectors of the Chinese economy and the development of the country's trade and economic ties at a new stage of reform.
The presented book draws important conclusions that despite a certain decrease in the extremely high GDP growth rates, macroeconomic PRC indicators (7.4% in 2014) remain higher than the average IRI. In the context of the transition to the “new normality”, it still exceeds the intended indicative indicators while maintaining rational proportions in the economy, and at present the country is not threatened with an economic crisis. The high rates of the socio-economic development of China are an important basis for the rapid development of trade, economic and financial cooperation with other countries of the world.
in content, the collection is very relevant in the light of tasks set during meetings at the highest level of the leaders of the Russian Federation and China in May 2015, following which 32 different documents were signed on the development of Russian-Chinese trade and economic cooperation.
