Bright red flowers with dark-colored stigmas are collected in cystic, rather thick inflorescences. Boxes of bright red, purple or karmine color, which remains until the seeds are fully maturated. Flowering continues from August to September. Kleschevina looks beautiful both in the center of the flowerbed and in a single landing due to shiny purple-green leaves in the shape of a star. With a single planting, the plant looks like a tropical plant with fruits similar to chestnuts, it is sometimes called a “northern palm tree”. Seeds are used in the production of castor oil.

Sowing of seeds can be done both through seedlings and in open ground in early May to a depth of 6-8 cm after the end of spring frosts. It grows better and more decorative in sunny, warm and moist places. She does not stand frosts and prolonged cooling, prefers areas with deeply cultivated, loose, nutritious soil, chernozems. Seeds for seedlings are planted in March, it is recommended to take pots of at least 20 cm in diameter. A day before sowing seeds should be soaked.
