CCD clamps are an electromechanical device designed for the operational connection or separation of the contact of the wires when performing measuring operations or installing electric and low-current networks.

The clamp was called a similarity to the crocodile jaws. It consists of two curly details with "crocodile" teeth, fastened with the middle with a special pin and capable of turning to a certain angle around the axis of the connection.
