It is grown both through seedlings and straight sowing seeds in open ground. In early April, sowing is carried out for seedlings in boxes with light sandy soil. Cochia seeds sprout only in the light, so they are evenly distributed over the surface of the wet soil and only slightly pressed into the ground. Crops are covered with a transparent film, regularly ventilating and removing condensate. After the emergence, the shelter is removed. Grown seedlings dive into separate cups. Seedlings are planted in the ground in late May - early June, when the threat of frost passes. Sowing seeds in the open in the ground is carried out as soon as the soil warms up, from mid -April to May. The shoots are thinned out with an interval of 10-15 cm if you want to get a continuous green border or 20-30 cm to grow single bushes. When sowing kochia in the ground, small frosts are kept.
