The manual tells about the exploits of hero children during the Great Patriotic War. The children, along with adults, fought with the enemy, entered the partisan detachments, went into reconnaissance, undermined enemy trains loaded with guns, tanks, anti -aircraft guns on the railway.

Children 11-14 years old showed exceptional courage, resourcefulness. Many of them were awarded orders and medals, some were awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union. Unfortunately, most hero children were killed by the death of the brave and awarded posthumously.
