Developing set of "pockets of emotions"

A developmental set of “pockets of emotions” will help babies from 3 years old to develop emotional intelligence, teach to understand their feelings and independently regulate their behavior.

by showing emotions, the child will better understand himself, others, will learn more confidently to communicate.

• Teach a child to recognize emotions. Lay out pockets and cards with faces in front of the baby. Ask the baby to compare emotions on your pockets and on the cards, and then find similar.
• Discuss what emotions people and animals experience on the cards. Ask how these emotions can be called. Speak the name of each feeling and select the situations from the life of the child to him.
• Compare the distant and close in meaning of emotions: joy and sadness, fear and surprise. How are they similar, and how different? Ask the baby in turn to be surprised, scared, immerse, rejoice. Agree: you show the pocket, and the baby repeats the emotion from it.
• lay out the cards in your pockets, say what emotions are connected with them, perform tasks from the memo for the development of the baby.
