Developing set "Repeat the giraffe"

The developmental set “Repeat the giraffe” is designed to teach children spatial concepts, acquaintance with the body scheme on the example of figures and training. Repeating the movements of the giraffes, pronouncing the directions of movements and performing tasks, the baby learns to own his body and describe the world around him.

• introduce the child to the giraffe and give time to play with him. Ask the baby to show the exercise from the cards on the giraffe, and then repeat the task yourself.
• secure the knowledge of the concepts of “top” and “bottom”. Explain to the child: you need to raise your hands as high as possible when you raise the handle at the giraffe, and let them go with it. At the same time, say: "Girafic stretches up, the giraffes reached down." When the baby is getting used to it, start “mistaken” to complicate the task and amuse the child.
• introduce the baby with the body pattern using the example of the figure. Ask the baby to show where the giraffe has a handle, legs, back, stomach, ears. Ask the child what the giraffe has, but he does not have it and vice versa.
• Play: You call part of the body. If she is common for the baby and figures, the child shows her on himself, and if not - on the giraffe.
