Diagnostic work on literature for grade 5 are compiled on the basis of the Federal State Educational Standard and the approximate basic educational program of basic general education. The manual is part of the training set in literature for grade 5, ed. V. Ya. Korovina, but can be successfully used when working with any current teaching system in literature. The purpose of the manual is to identify the level of subject and meta -subject achievements of students in the process of studying literature in grade 5, to determine the difficulties that arise in different stages of training and in accordance with this to adjust work in the class. The content and form of tasks included in each of the diagnostic works take into account the basic requirements of the program for grade 5.
