This manual is fully consistent with the Federal State Educational Standard (Second generation). Reference materials on physics for grades 7-9 are compiled in accordance with the content of the basic course of the school. The manual provides a brief presentation of the main material: laws, formulas, determination of physical quantities, units of their measurement, information on astronomy, materials from the history of physics and reference tables. The reference book will be useful for students preparing for the state final certification (OGE) and for a traditional physics exam for a main school. By order No. 699 of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the training manuals of the Publishing House "Exam" were allowed for use in educational institutions.
