The textbook is based on modern methodological principles and meets the requirements for textbooks on the beginning of the third millennium. The themes and authentic material used in the textbook are selected taking into account the interests of high school students, are focused on choosing a future profession and continuing education. The emphasis is on the development of the communicative skills of students, their cognitive abilities, meta -subject skills and personal qualities.
