Floriculture. Theory and practice. Bochkova I.
Everyone wants to make their site beautiful. It would seem that it is not difficult: to buy some unusual plant that neighbors do not have, to design a magnificent flower garden, to plant a group of fragrant shrubs, to sow the lawn. But in reality, everything often does not work out at all as it was seen in dreams: the plants slowly grow, look contradictory, die.
What is the mistake? The fact is that only strong and healthy plants can please the owners. And in order for all flowers and shrubs to be such, it is important to know the basics of caring for them, properly prepare the ground for planting, be able to recognize pests and illness. And, of course, select plants, taking into account the features of the site: lighting, soil type, humidity and much more. For example, rhododendrons will not grow in a sunny windy place, and roses in a damp shadow.
It is precisely in all these subtleties that the author of the book Irina Yuryevna Bochkova, candidate of agricultural sciences, associate professor of the Landscape Architecture of the MFTU named after N.E. Bauman (former Mgul). Many of the topics listed at universities have been studying for several years, but even this small book will help to create real beauty on their site.
