A nut of the DIN 6334 type is used for lengthening, connecting threaded hairpins and pins of the corresponding thread size in mechanical engineering, instrumentation and other industrial, production, construction industries. The connecting nut has alternative names, such as the “coupling”, “elongated nut”. Structurally made in the form of a hexagon with an internal hole in which the thread is cut. The length of the connecting nut is approximately equal to the 3 diameter multiplied by 3 diameter.
installation
is installed using a hexagonal key. The nut is stolen for one end of the connected studs to half the length, after which the stiletway is twisted into the nut from the other side. For greater reliability of fastening, the connection can be fixed with additional nuts, which are tightened on both sides of the coupling. Thanks to the galvanized coating, the nut is protected from corrosion.
