This manual is fully consistent with the Federal State Educational Standard (Second generation) for elementary school. The manual presents a variety of mathematics tasks for the course of grade 2. Each work is designed for a weekly load. Working with this manual will increase interest in the study of mathematics, will contribute to the development of logical thinking, spatial representations and imagination. The systematic fulfillment of the tasks presented in this manual will consolidate the educational skills on the studied topics of mathematics, will bring to automatism the ability to solve text and geometric problems, numerical expressions, equality and inequality. In the process of work, children will learn to draw independent conclusions, overcome difficulties and achieve success. The manual can be used for additional work with second -graders, teachers and parents in class and houses, both for individual and collective work. By order No. 729 of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the textbooks of the publishing house "Exam" were allowed for use in educational institutions.
