The distinguishing features of this course are the introduction of a clearly obvious axiom of the existence of a rectangle instead of the traditional axiom of parallel and non -standard definition of sinus and cosine for arbitrary angles. The main attention in grade 8 is paid to the concept of parallelism of straight lines, polygons, especially quadrangles, and the solution of triangles using a trigonometric apparatus. The textbook contains a large number of diverse tasks for the formation and development of universal educational actions, and in addition, tasks with practical content, research and design tasks, a list of abstracts.
