The attention of readers is proposed to the book of an outstanding domestic German philologist M. M. Gukhman (1904-1989), dedicated to the study of the Gothic language belonging to the eastern group of ancient Germanic languages. The main part of the book is a description of the laws of the Gothic language, its phonetics, morphology, which includes the phenomenon and word formation, and syntax.
