Grade 2. Functional reading. I read, I say, remember. Ptukhina A.V.
The purpose of this manual is the formation of functional reading skills among younger students. Today, functional literacy is not only one of the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard of the NOO, but also the basis of successful and productive learning, since only a personality that is sufficiently formed in this regard can consciously and independently act and develop, learn the world.
It is precisely reading that allows To form the basic skills of obtaining, processing and using information, on the basis of which the general functional literacy of a person will be built in the future.
The work of the manual is divided into three parts depending on the functional belonging of texts (narration, description and reasoning). Each part precedes a brief characteristic of the type of text, the texts are different both in content (fairy tale, mystery, rule, etc.), and in form (poems, prose).
After each text, it is proposed to complete a number of tasks that are aimed at developing such skills as:
- testing the understanding of read (actual information);
- identification and analysis of the necessary information (search reading);
- an argumented expression of one’s own attitude to the read (primary quoting skills);
- determination of the author’s point of view (i.e. analysis of the text at the linguistic level);
- the search for information presented in implicit form.
