The educational publication is intended for studying technology in the 5th grade of secondary schools and meets the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard of basic general education and the approximate basic program of basic general education.

The course of technology contains basic information about the transformative activity of a person, material and information technology, material culture. Particular attention is paid to robotics. Students will be able to master the skills of subject and project activities, get acquainted with various fields of production, which will help them in choosing a future profession. At the end of the publication, there are applications that disclose technologies for self-knowledge, ensuring safety and environmental protection.

The publication is included in the educational-methodical kit (UMK) using technology, which also includes a textbook on robotics for students , a methodological manual for a teacher and a working notebook.
