The educational and methodological kit "English in focus. Grade 5 ”is intended for students in grade 5 who continue to study the English language in the basic comprehensive school. The material was created by the international author’s team: the Russian publishing house "Education" and the British publisher-partner Express Publishing (Yu.E. Vaulina, D. Dully, O.E. Podolyako, V. Evans). The textbook is designed for 3 hours a week in educational organizations. It has a clear modular structure: an introductory module, 10 thematic modules, a section of authentic information about Russia, a grammatical reference book in Russian, as well as numerous applications, such as irregular verbs, geographical names and much more. The textbook is characterized by the fact that students get acquainted with rational methods of learning a foreign language (Study Skills) and use English as a means of learning other disciplines. The teaching materials consists of an extensive number of various components, including multimedia: a textbook, workbook, work program 5-9 (on the site), audio course (on the site), a book for a teacher, a language portfolio, a reading book (Jack and Bean Grain), an audio course for a book for reading (on the site ), training exercises in the ore format.
