The textbook contains educational material on the organization and conduct of environmental monitoring by schoolchildren as one of the environmental safety mechanisms. The book discusses the possibilities of using indicators in conducting biomonitoring of various life, their specific features, as well as methods and methods of working on bioindic research.

, along with the main theoretical material, presents practical and laboratory work aimed at consolidation of theory and the acquisition of research skills, as well as creative work, questions and tasks to verify the assimilation of the material.

The textbook is intended for students in grades 9, and will also be useful to school teachers during extracurricular works, optional classes of ecological environmental classes -do history orientation.
