Hat elastic band is a round cord in which the inside of the tape is formed from a bunch of latex threads, and a polyester braid comes over. Such an elastic band has high elasticity, resistance to deformation. Large diameter products are used when sewing sports/tourist equipment, and thin elastic bands of small diameter are great for creating summer clothing.

The elastic band got its name thanks to the original purpose: it was widely used to sew children's hats and panels. The elastic band was sewn on both sides of the headgear so as to ensure its convenient landing and so that the wind does not tear off the hat from the head of the child.
