Atlas of human anatomy in three volumes contains about 1,500 high -quality color images in full accordance with the program of medical universities. All images are carefully marked and equipped with signatures: anatomical terms are given in Latin, Russian and English according to the international anatomical nomenclature (2003). A convenient column is used, at the end of the atlas a pointer of anatomical terms is shown, which allows you to quickly find the necessary information. The pocket format of the atlas is convenient for daily study of the anatomy.
The unique concept of the publication is formed on the basis of the illustrated textbook “Human Anatomy” based on the academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences L.L. Kolesnikov and extensive experience in the preparation of anatomical atlases by the GEOTAR-Media Publishing House. In this atlas, illustrative material has been completely redesigned, new images, schemes, materials on x-rayanatomy are added.
The first volume of the atlas is devoted to the anatomy of the musculoskeletal system (osteology, arthrosindesmology, myology).
