The basis of this book was lectures, read by the authors at the Medical and Biological Department of the RNIMU named after N. I. Pirogov and the faculty of fundamental medicine of the Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov. The textbook contains the presentation of three main sections of fundamental medical biophysics located as biophysical systems are complicated - quantum, molecular and cellular biophysics. The book discusses the following topics: the interaction of light with matter, photobiological processes, free radicals in biological systems, methods of research of protein structures, the structure and functions of protein molecules, the structure of membranes, the transfer of substances through membranes, bioelectrogenesis. A feature of the textbook is a problem-oriented presentation of the material and the illustration of it with their own scientific data.
