Julien Nel began to work in the graphics and advertising industry, he painted illustrations for Internet resources, video games and comics- magazines. But in 2004, his first comicistist about the girl Lu was released. She won at the festival of drawn stories in the Angulus. And then it turned into a comic series, and then the animated series, which showed the French Disney channel. In 2013, Julien Nel himself became the director of the movie series based on a comic book series.

Now Julien Nel continues to work as a graphic designer and often acts and gives autographs to fans of the series about Lou.
