Magnet depicts the chapel of St. Nicholas - one of the main attractions of the city. It is located in the very center of Novosibirsk, on Krasnoye Prospekt near Lenin Square. The construction of the chapel began on July 20, 1914 in honor of the 20th anniversary of the laying of the railway bridge over the Ob and ended on December 14. In 1929, the chapel was demolished, restored it according to the surviving pictures in 1993 to the 100th anniversary of Novosibirsk.
