The collection of articles is dedicated to Russian-Japanese research of comics-manga. Various issues in the field of Manga Studies are covered, also affecting the sphere of art history, sociology, historiography, cultural studies, literary criticism, gender research, etc. The first chapter analyzes works oriented to the male audience (genre Syunen), in the second - works created for women ( The genre of Shojo), in the third are examples of manga containing retrospective scenes.
