The textbook is intended for children with disabilities and ensures the implementation of the requirements of the adapted basic general education program in the subject “Mathematics” in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard of the Education of Students with Intellectual Disorders.

In the 2nd part of the textbook, the system of educational tasks is represented in a strictly sustained logical sequence from simple to complex and contributes to the correction of developmental disorders available to students. The main attention is paid to work on an integral arithmetic task, which is first introduced at this stage of training, and the formation of students computational skills in the production of addition and subtraction with the transition through a dozen (within 20). The study of corners continues, the concept of “quadrangles” is introduced, exercises are widely represented for the addition and subtraction of numbers obtained when measuring the values.

Illustrations help students to clearly represent the material being studied. The composition of the educational and methodological kit in mathematics for grade 2 includes a workbook.
