You still do not know what kind of magic house two children were discovered once high on a tree - eight -year -old Jack and his younger sister Annie? It was so tempting to climb the house, and inside the children found unknown books left about different historical eras. As it turned out, you just have to open the book and wish to see what is happening with your own eyes - the house immediately tolerates its guests to the described era. I think that none of the readers would refuse such exciting adventures, especially since Jack and Annie quickly realized which subject you could return to your home in Pennsylvania, if it became too dangerous.
Jack and In previous stories, Annie managed to ride on a dinosaur and get acquainted with the medieval knight, and they are quite expected to choose a book about ancient Egypt for a new trip - who will refuse to freeze from horror at the sight of the mummy, feel the cold inside the tomb or find the treasury littered with a gold. On the journey, Jack acts as a born researcher: he writes out observations in a notebook, tests unfamiliar concepts from a book prudently taken with him, and neither the mummy nor the ghost of the Egyptian queen is almost scared. A little detective, a little mysticism, a little terrible sounds, extinguishing torches and slamming the doors at the most inappropriate time - and two children will help the queen to complete the transition to the afterlife.
