The textbook is intended for children with disabilities and ensures the implementation of the requirements of the adapted basic general education program in the subject “Art” in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard of the Education of Students with Intellectual Disorders. The content of the manual is aimed at the formation of positive motivation for classes of various types of musical activity and readiness for the practical application of acquired musical experience in various sociocultural projects.

In the fourth grade, children:

- master the skills of independent performance of learned songs, both with instrumental support and without it;

-acquire the ability of solo and choral singing in compliance with the requirements of artistic performance, taking into account the tempo-rhythmic characteristics of music, its dynamic shades;

- get acquainted with various musical instruments and their sound, with the main means of musical expressiveness, with the features of melodic voting;

- learn to distinguish between songs, marches, dances various in nature and sound, receive elementary ideas about the multifunctionality of music.
