“Love” is the second book of the six -month autobiographical cycle “My struggle” of the classic of modern Norwegian literature. Karl Uve leaves his wife and moves from Norway to Sweden, where he meets Linda. With endless tenderness and sometimes shocking frankness, he talks about their passionate novel with countless quarrels and reconciliations. Soon their eldest daughter is born, then another daughter and son. The exhausting everyday life of the father of three children begins. Much annoys the hero: both the fees of brothers in Peru, and conformism as the norm of life in a country alien to him. Nevertheless, it is here that inspiration is returning to him. Not without difficulty, breaking through at least a couple of hours a day from the family routine, he is given to creativity - his main struggle.
