Nokian Hakkapeliitta R5 tires are designed for driving in the winter. They are installed on cars and are distinguished by a directed tread of the “Scandinavian” type, which is adapted for the most difficult winter conditions. These tires have the following distinctive features:

an important advantage of the Hakkapeliitta R5 tires is the presence of a winter wear indicator. The technology is called WSI: there is a snowflake on the surface of the tire, and when the tread depth is reduced to 4 millimeters, it disappears. This indicates excessive wear and the need to replace the tires.
