Plastration is carried out only after complete drying and shrinkage of the furnace. For better adhesion to plaster, the surface of the furnace is cleaned of dust and residues of the masonry solution, as well as the masonry joints to a depth of about 3-5 mm. The solution will be kept stronger if it is applied to a metal mesh with cells up to 10x10 mm, which is securely fixed on the surface of the furnace using the double ends of the wire laid during the masonry in the seams. The ends of the wire are produced at a distance of 100-120 mm from each other in a checkerboard pattern.

preparation of the solution

a dry mixture for applying the first primer layer must be mixed in a 1 kg of dry mixture-0 , 28 liters of clean tap water, for the preparation of the main plaster layer per 1 kg of dry mixture - 0.24 liters of clean tap water.

to prepare the solution, use only clean water that does not contain suspended particles and dissolved salts. It is possible to use a settled rainwater.

Attention! The finished solution must be used within 30 minutes, a longer period leads to a decrease in the strength of the finished product. It is not allowed to use a thickened solution, re -diluting it with water. The first layer of the solution is liquid, used as a primer to prepare the surface for applying subsequent layers. The thickness of the layer is minimal. The second layer is aligned. To obtain a more even and strong surface (when correcting uneven masonry joints), a third layer of plaster is applied. The thickness of each layer is not more than 3-4 mm. After applying the last layer, the surface of the furnace or fireplace is aligned and wiped.

consumption

the amount of the finished solution obtained from one kilogram of dry plaster mixture is enough to plastered 1.4-1.5 M.KV., with the thickness of the working layer 1 mm. The final consumption of the finished solution directly depends on the quality of the preparation and condition of the working surface of the furnace.
