Notebook “Reading. From the syllable to the word "is intended for classes with students of grades 2–4, having difficulties in mastering the reading skill (slowly reading children). Tasks of the manual are aimed at improving the skill of smooth syllabic reading and prepare children for reading words.
The structure of the manual consists of 15 classes that use specially developed exercises and tasks. Preparatory exercises are aimed at the formation of visual-spatial, visual, submarine, speech-implicit and verbal representations. The lexical material for tasks was selected taking into account frequency and gradual complication of the syllabic structure of words. The manual provides for an independent intermediate assessment of the results of the completion of tasks for the development of self -control. Schoolchildren can verify their achievements and evaluate the dynamics of the reading pace by comparing their results with the average data of the reading norms, which are given separately for 2-4 classes.
Notebook “Reading. I read and understand ”includes the educational and methodological complex“ Speech therapy support of primary school students ”, which contributes to the development of the main educational program of primary general education. This publication continues a series of reading manuals for the development of the technical side of reading. A notebook can be used in lesson or extracurricular activities, in the accompanying correctional and pedagogical work, when assisting children from parents.
