Guide "Reading literacy. Learning to understand the text. The simulator in the PIRLS format ”is designed to train in order to increase the level of reader literacy and control the development of planned results in the subject“ Literary Reading ”in the 4th grade of elementary school.

Materials of the manuals are formed taking into account the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard. Training tasks are focused on use in preparation for the diagnosis of international research on the quality of reading and understanding the text of PIRLS.

Materials of the collection “Reading literacy” can be useful to primary school teachers both in the lessons and in the classes of extracurricular activities, as well as parents of primary school students.

In notebook 2, informational and cognitive texts and tasks for them are presented.
