Thematic reader for primary schools includes works included in all programs for reading for 1-4 grades approved by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.

This textbook includes classic works of different eras and genres, united by the general Topic: they all tell about adventures, travels (by land, by sea and by air) and dangers threatening the characters, whether it be an eleven -year -old schoolboy or fairy -tale prince, a wooden doll or a restless frog. The young reader will get acquainted with the Russian folk tale, as well as the remarkable works of domestic and foreign authors: V.M. Garshina, L.N. Tolstoy, B. S. Zhitkov, a. N. Tolstoy, a. P. Gaidara, brothers Grimm and O. Henry.

The publication is addressed to younger schoolchildren, intended for preparation for lessons and independent reading of the house. All works are given without abbreviations.
