This manual is fully consistent with the Federal State Educational Standard (Second generation) for elementary school.

The basis of the dictionary is the words that are most often found in textbooks in the Russian language for grades 1-4 and are recommended for memorization. The dictionary also presents words that relatively recently entered the active dictionary of schoolchildren.

The dictionary is built in alphabetical order. In all words, the stress is indicated in some cases the form of the plural, the form of genitive or creative cases. Writing words complies with all the rules of modern Russian spelling.
