The textbook is intended for children with disabilities and implements the requirements of the adapted basic general education program in the subject area “Language and speech practice” in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard of Education with Intellectual Disorders.
The content of learning is presented in the textbook with three levels of assimilation of software material in the Russian language. Each level has its conditional designation on the pages of the textbook, facilitating the search for the desired task. This will allow the teacher to carry out a differentiated approach in the choice of educational tasks and speech material for each student in each lesson. The textbook also offers a series of oral exercises allocated to a separate section that precedes written exercises of similar content or assimilating the key link of its topic at the end of the lesson.
The textbook uses the simplest vocabulary puzzles, didactic games, which contributes to the ability to work in a pair or in a group of textbooks. The simplest form of dialogical written speech (question-response) is considered, work is underway on the correct intonation of the proposal-question and the sentence-answer.
The content of the textbook is built taking into account the characteristics of the cognitive activity of children. The concentric location of the material creates the conditions for the gradual increase in information on the topic, for the constant repetition of the completed and the development of the necessary skills.
All tasks and exercises of the textbook are aimed at forming students with intellectual disorders of communicative-speech skills, which is the main task of teaching the Russian language in elementary grades. The textbook takes into account the psychophysical characteristics, the difficulties of students with impaired intelligence and the possibility of developing their cognitive and emotional-volitional areas of activity, as well as a different level of development of students in the composition of the same class.
