The textbook is intended for hard of hearing and late -dead children and ensures the implementation of the requirements of the adapted basic general educational program in the subject “Russian language” in the subject area “Philology” (option 2. 2) in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard of Students with Limited Health. Educational material will help to develop children's skills in children, form elements of educational activity, collective work skills taking into account the characteristics of the psychophysical, speech development of children entering school, the level of safety of their auditory function and prepare them for literacy in grade 1.

The textbook consists of two parts. The content of the first part includes the materials of the section “We learn to speak” (work on vocabulary, aimed mainly at its perception and comprehension in visual speech situations; work on verb vocabulary). Students' dictionary is replenished with words related to winter activities, names of wild and domestic animals, parts of the human body; Words on the topics "Clothing", "Family".

Students get acquainted with concepts: color, size, shape, the same, different. The teacher draws the attention of children to the animation and inanimate of objects. The illustrative material presented in the training manual consists of subject, situational and plot drawings.
