The attention of readers is offered another book from the series “Freemasonry. Martinism. Hermeticism ”with the aim of educating readers in the field of history. The new encyclopedic publication, based on sources, reveals the history of Russian Freemasonry in the 20th century. If at the beginning of the century Freemasonry in the Russian Empire, thanks to the rapid evolution, has turned into a political organization that sets itself the goal of “overthrowing the autocracy”, then in exile Masonic workshops that worked in Russian became a kind of strong stronghold of the “Order of the Russian Intelligentsia”, which preserved the culture of the country. Of the more than two thousand Russian Masons, almost every tenth has professionally engaged in literary activity.
The new edition is intended for specialists studying the culture of Russia, as well as for a wide range of readers.
