How does a whiskey bullet work?

Steel bullets have neither smell, nor taste, and do not enter into chemical interaction with the drink. Before use, the bullet is placed in the freezer for 1-2 hours. Then they are placed in a glass with a drink, and they slowly give their cold to the drink. To achieve an optimum temperature of 16-18 degrees, 3 bullets per glass are traditionally placed, and the taste of the whiskey becomes soft and saturated.
