The textbook was developed in accordance with all the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard of LLC, approved by order of the Ministry of Education No. 287 dated 05/31/2021. The authors set out educational material about the political, social spheres of society, the prospects for its development, taking into account the age characteristics of students and modern scientific views. The content of the textbook is aimed at the formation of students in general Russian identity, social responsibility, political culture, commitment to the values ​​enshrined in the Russian Constitution.

The methodological apparatus implements the system-activity approach in training and contributes to the development of universal educational actions. The educational student completes the subject line for social studies for the main school (grades 6-9).
