Thematic training is designed to prepare nine -graders for OGE in social studies.

The book contains tasks on seven thematic sections: “Man as a result of biosocial evolution”, “Society”, “Sphere of spiritual culture”, “Economics” , “Social sphere”, “sphere of politics and social management”, “law”, as well as a section on working with illustrative material.

The manual includes:

- 10 options tasks in the format of the OGE to each section;

- texts and questions for them (tasks of high level of complexity);

- answers to all tasks;

- theoretical Information.

The sequence of placement of the material corresponds to the logic of studying the course of social studies in the main school and is optimal in independent preparation for the exam. The “Economics” section contains tasks on financial literacy.

The teacher can use training materials at various stages of the lesson in grades 8–9 in preparing students for the OGE. The manual will be useful in organizing distance learning.
