Souvenir "Samovar", Khokhloma

Khokhloma is one of the oldest Russian folk crafts. She is loved today for her unique patterns and a harmonious color combination. The main paints used in Khokhlomsky painting belong to the warm gamut of the spectrum: red, black, gold.

The combination of these colors that came from icon painting is very symbolic:

red (beautiful) - The color of power;

gold - the color of the search, well -being, the divine principle;
