Tarot Ettheiles
We present to your attention an undeservedly forgotten classical deck from the 18th century, named, like other similar decks, in honor of the Creator. The occult figure of Ettheil (the real name is Jean-Batist Aleett) was of the opinion that the wisdom of the Tarot was given to humanity by the ancient Egyptians, and the images of the Tarot themselves keep in universities to all the secrets of the universe. No, but the fact remains: the Tarot made such a strong impression on the eththyl that he decided to create his own deck. And it is precisely to this decision of the century later that we owe such a popularization of Tarot cards. Despite this, a deck of the Tarot Ettheiles is more than self -sufficient: the lasso in it have no more repeated names, far from always related to the names and numbering of classic Tarot cards.
So, for example, Arkan 1 has a name “Chaos” and the meaning - “peace” or “asking” (the latter is in an inverted position). But we can also observe the complete correspondences to the classic tarot: the Valta Peak (Page Swords) map is the “spy”.
our deck was created on the basis of illustrations for the Tarot Ettheila in the book of 1840 under the authorship of Julianna Orsini. In it, we tried to maintain maximum authenticity and atmosphere for you and your understanding of this, without a doubt, worthy of the classical deck.
