The workbook was created in accordance with the program and a technology textbook for grade 8 of organizations engaged in educational activities with students with disabilities in adapted basic general educational programs for students with various forms of mental retardation.

The notebook includes all the necessary materials for the organization of differentiated individual and group work of schoolchildren with different levels of intellectual underdevelopment.

The workbook contains materials for deepening and expanding knowledge, mastering new qualification levels and expanding graduates employment with more preserved psychophysical functions.

In the workbook, the “Family leisure” section includes in the “Preservation and Supporting of Health” module. The fulfillment of tasks ensures the motivational basis for the formation of support relations, mutual assistance in the family, understanding family roles, which is important for adolescents with disabilities, often due to the restrictions on the houses in the situation of the guardianship.

Module “Cleaning Premises” in the workbook is supplemented by the “household electrical appliances” section, which ensures the conscious fulfillment of the rules for the operation of the washing machine and the refrigerator.
