This algebra textbook is included in the line of educational and methodological complexes "Spheres" in mathematics, begun by textbooks for grades 5-7. The manual was prepared in accordance with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard. In the meaningful plan, the textbooks of this series are distinguished by the strengthening of the general cultural component, a systematic demonstration of the connection of mathematics with the outside world, attention to the development of the cognitive abilities of the student, communicative skills. The fundamental features of the textbook are the format fixed in thematic reversals, laconicism and clear structure of the text, the use of fields for special headings with historical information, reference material, samples of solutions, and the structuralness of the exercise system. All this stimulates the conscious and motivated development of content, the development of interest in the subject.
