The Line Nature Line Textbook is included in the system of educational and methodological sets "Success Algorithm". Dedicated to the study of animals, continues to implement the conceptual ideas of developing learning, begun in textbooks for grade 5 (authors T. Sukhov, A. G. Dragomilov) and for grade 6 (authors T. S. Sukhov, T. A. Dmitrieva). When studying animals, the accents were transferred from a detailed description of individual biological objects to leading system -forming ideas of the course: the uniqueness of the living, the complication of the organization during evolution, and adaptability to the habitat. The knowledge significant for the formation of a common culture and necessary in everyday life is highlighted. The educational process is built taking into account the study of the natural characteristics of the local region. The methodological apparatus offers schoolchildren active participation in the educational process. The textbook gives the possibility of in -depth study of biology in grade 7. Corresponds to the Federal State Educational Standard of Basic General Education (2010).
