The textbook “My choice is English. Grade 8 ”created for students of grade 8 who continue to learn English as a second foreign language. The textbook was prepared by two copyright groups: the largest Russian publishing house "Education" (authors of E. G. Manevich A. A. Polyakov) and the British partner of Express Publishing (D. Duli, V. Evans). The textbook is designed for 2 hours a week. The textbook received positive conclusions in the RAO and the RKS for compliance with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard of basic general education. The structure of the textbook in grade 8 is changing. It remains modular (8 thematic modules), but there is no introductory. The main content is complemented by the section on Russia (All ABOUT Russia), FUN Time, Self-Check (Self-Carecarts), Word ForMation (section for practicing word formation rules) and Grammar Reference Section (grammatical reference book). The content of the module is also changing. Each module is characterized by a holistic approach in teaching vocabulary and grammar, interesting authentic texts, as well as the obligatory presence of a section for writing written (Writing) and a section for preparing for an exam in the OGE format (Exam Practice).
