The textbook “Fine Arts” for grade 4 was prepared according to the materials of many years of research by the Institute of Art Education RAO. The textbook is based on a modern integrated multi-hearted approach, based on the advanced ideas of various scientific schools in the field of art education and taking into account the mental characteristics of children, their interests and preferences in artistic and creative activities. At the end of the textbook, methodological recommendations for the teacher are given.

The textbook corresponds to the federal component of state educational standards of primary general education (2009).
