The textbook “French in the future”, part 2 for grade 3 is addressed to students studying French as the first foreign language. The purpose of the course “French in the future” is the development of the student’s personality by means of a foreign language and the formation of the ability to intercultural and interpersonal communication. The materials of the textbook in conjunction with other components of the CMC ensure the achievement of developing and educational goals of learning at the initial stage. The textbook makes it possible to develop the communicative and game abilities of students, are the basis for the formation of interest in the culture of France. The methodological concept of this textbook is based on a communicative approach to teaching a foreign language, the principle of sociocultural development of students by means of a foreign language, personality -oriented teaching the French language, which meets the modern requirements for a foreign language textbook.
