The textbook “Fundamentals of Life Safety” for grade 11 was developed by the author’s team in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard (Federal State Educational Standard) of the Average (Full) General. The textbook completes the line of textbooks for grades 5-11 of educational institutions “Fundamentals of Life Safety” edited by Yu. L. Vorobyov, Honored Rescuer of the Russian Federation, Hero of Russia. The textbook is recommended by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and is included in the federal list of school textbooks of 2014/2015. One of the features of the textbook is the consideration on its pages of the global problems of modernity, which in essence affect the interests of all of humanity and pose a potential threat to its life. The study of the topic “Fundamentals of military service” continues. Students will get acquainted with the legislation on defense, military duty and the features of military service. The material of the textbook will help to consolidate knowledge, skills in providing first aid in various dangerous and emergency situations. The textbook is published together by the methodological manual for the teacher.
